Native to tropical Africa, Senna leaf is primarily used to make tea or to enhance other teas. The resulting tea, also known as “lax tea”, is a natural herbal laxative. Our Senna Leaf is sourced directly from organic farms in Burkina Faso, where the leaves are hand-packed by qualified pickers. These leaves are grown without the use of pesticides, chemicals, or fertilizers. Our Senna Leaves tea have no additives. They are non-GMO, non-irradiated and always naturally caffeine-free.
Senna Leaves have been touted for their unique healing properties. Senna leaf tea acts as a gentle laxative and relives constipation, helps smooth bowel/gut movement. Senna Leaf Tea helps support weight loss.
Our organic Senna Leaves Powder can be used for cooking and seasoning. Or, simply mix ½ teaspoon of our Senna powder with warm water (or your favorite tea), once or twice daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Precautions
Because Senna leaves have a strong laxative effect, you shouldn’t drink more than one cup of senna tea a day. It’s also advisable to only use for one week at a time.

Storage and shelf-life
Refrigeration is not required. Store in a cool, dark, dry place. Once opened, make sure to reseal the package for optimum freshness. Shelf life of up to 24 months.
