Moringa Tree goes by various names like the miracle tree, drumstick tree, horseradish tree and ben-oil tree. Leaves and seeds are commonly eaten in Africa for culinary and wellness benefits.
Our organically grown Moringa Seeds are harvested from triangular pods that grow on the moringa tree. When dried, they become hard, black seeds that resemble small beans with “wings.” Moringa Seeds are loaded with powerful antioxidants, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. The seeds are also reputed to contain antibiotic and antibacterial benefits.
All of the seeds are handpicked only when fully ripe. The seeds are then cleaned assuring you a ready-to-eat high quality product. Each pack you buy contains approximately 1,000 dried Moringa seeds, though the actual quantity in each pack may vary from 750 to 1000 seeds depending on the size and moisture content at the time of packing.
Our Moringa Seeds are ready for you to enjoy them. Just peel off the soft shell and pop the tasty kernel into your mouth for a quick snack. Enjoy them like you would nuts or even better, add them to your granola, yogurt, cakes, smoothies, and soups. Moringa seeds can be boiled, steamed, popped like popcorn, or roasted. When made into oil, moringa seeds are used in cosmetics such as anti-aging creams, soaps, hair products, creams, and essential oils.
Our 3oz and 10oz resealable bags contain 100% raw, pure, and fresh, organically grown, and non-GMO Moringa Seeds. MAKOMAS promises, NO pesticides, NO insecticides, NO chemicals, NO weed control chemicals, NO GMO.

Our emphasis on small-scale sustainable organic farming practices helps the environment by promoting soil regeneration as well as protecting biodiversity.
Our Commitment to the Highest Ethical Standards
MAKOMAS products are sourced from small farms in West Africa where rigorous standards insure that only the highest quality organic ingredients go into the making of our products. But, we haven’t forgotten the women farmers who toil in the fields to produce our raw materials. To that end we have created the MAKOMAS Foundation, a charitable arm of our company. With every purchase you make, you also give back to the women farmers who are so deserving of our support.
