Whole Cloves should be just that, whole. That is why we handpick each and every nail-shaped flower bud in order to ensure the full clove head is intact. In fact, we ensure that over 90% of the cloves that come in a pouch, are whole. MAKOMAS hand-picks, only the best quality cloves in order to preserve the warm, earthy aroma that adds a unique, special flavor to anything it is used in.
Our Whole Cloves are free of preservatives and additives. We never add MSG, fillers, or anti-caking agents. Our cloves are always non-GMO. What these cloves do have are antioxidants, dietary fiber, calcium, vitamin C, manganese, and iron.
Cloves are widely used in desserts, soups, spice rubs, teas, and coffees. Add them to smoothies, BBQ sauces and your pickling blend. Include cloves in your many spice blends such as pumpkin pie spice, allspice, garam masala and so much more. Storage and shelf-life
Refrigeration is not required. Store in a cool, dark, dry place. Once opened, make sure to reseal the package for optimum freshness. Shelf life of up to 24 months.
